Tonight at 7 p.m. Dr. Ami Bera and former Congressman Doug Ose will debate the issues in the race for California's 7th Congressional District. Californians should be ready for some ducking and dodging as Congressman Ose continues to try to hide his record in Congress from Sacramento County voters.

Californians can expect more of Ose running from his record, including his support of privatizing Social Security and gambling seniors' retirements on Wall Street and his votes to enrich himself and his Wall Street banker friends at the expense of the middle class.
The debate is sponsored by KVIE, the Sacramento Bee, Capitol Public Radio, and Los Rios Community College District. Tune in to the debate in the Sacramento region on KVIE, local channel 6 at 7 p.m. You can also listen in live on Capital Public Radio 90.9 FM and online at capitalpublicradio.org.
The Los Rios Community College District will also host a public forum before the debate Wednesday with a panel of Sacramento State and Los Rios faculty and staff, as well as national and local media at Folsom Lake College in the Community Room (Aspen Hall room FL1-20) from 12-1 p.m. The public and media are encouraged to attend as the panel discusses the issues and strategies likely to be featured in the debate.
